Variations of Rummy

The main goal of Indian Rummy is to create a pure sequence (e.g., JQK) of cards of the same suit, or a set (e.g., AAA) of cards with the same value. Once a player has formed the required runs and sets using the cards in hand, they can declare a game.

In Indian Rummy, the game is typically played with four players, each receiving 13 cards from two decks. To declare a game, a player must have a pure sequence (First Life) and either a pure or impure sequence (Second Life), along with a set of four cards. If a player is unable to create a pure sequence, they receive a penalty of 80 points.
